Learning Human Values via Emotional Intelligence
Her first TEDx talk, and a standing ovation. Ruby argues that technology has outpaced our ability to stay at peace with it, and that human values — the sense of right and wrong — are what restore the balance. Her case is for teaching children those values alongside critical thinking and emotional intelligence, so that technology improves their lives rather than diminishes them.
