Felt like homecoming meeting the charasmatic H.E. Mridul Kumar ji, Ambassador of India ! I proudly presented him my latest book, HER STORY, anthology of resilient women leaders in the real world 📕 An absolute honour to represent my Kashmir in the Vastrāṅgaḥ Bharath fashion walk, showcasing the region’s rich textile and cultural heritage alongside the traditional fabrics and national costumes of different states across India. Despite heavy rains, the event was super successful - meeting distinguished dignitaries from the diplomatic world and members of the vibrant Indian diaspora. Sharing delicious Indian food, celebrating our diverse cultural heritage, and coming together under the spirit of India House was a beautiful reminder of the unity in our diversity.
